100% pure organic steam distilled ginger essential oil of the rhizome of Zingiber officinale

Fabulous pungent and earthy essential oil – attributed with many qualities: warming stimulating circulation analgaesic anti-inflammatory anti-nausea – in fact ginger is consistently shown in clinical trials to be extremely effective against nausea, including travel sickness, morning sickness and post-operative nausea and vomiting.

Preliminary research shows promise for the incorporation of ginger essential oil in to nasal spray, supporting its use as a steam inhalation for as a natural option for treating rhinitis and rhinosinusitis (Ref)

Other investigations show that Ginger essential oil has bronchodilatory effects, so may help with respiratory trouble, such as asthma, bronchitis, colds and influenza

How to Use Ginger Essential Oil

You can add ginger essential oil to a personal massage or spot-treatment blend. Add 2-3 drops to 30ml of a carrier oil. Blends well with lemon essential oil.

For nausea, add 1-2 drops to a steam inhalation, room vapouriser or put on a tissue.

Great to use in a footbath or for compresses. Mix into a balm with Kunzea ambigua for joint pain.
