AllicinMax®Immune 60 capsules
Allicin and beta glucan with vitamin C and zinc .
Each capsule contains stablised allicin extracted from garlic using a unique patented extraction process to produce stablised product with 100% yield of allicin. This process ensures all the benefits of stabilised allicin are locked into convenient capsules designed for rapid absorption into your body which ensures that the allicin is easily absorbed and utilised. Plus added nutrients that may help support a healthy immune system.
β–Glucan has been shown to protect against infection by bacteria, viruses, and pathogenic microorganisms (1)
Zinc affects multiple aspects of the immune system and is crucial for normal development and function of cells, helping the immune system fight off invading bacteria and viruses. Supplementary zinc may be more important for people with a zinc deficiency, which is relatively common and is responsible for 16% of all deep respiratory infections world-wide. Zinc supplementation has been shown to reduce the duration of the symptoms of the common cold (2).
Vitamin C contributes to immune defense by supporting various cellular functions. Prevention of infection requires dietary vitamin C of 100–200 mg/day to optimise cell and tissue levels. Regular vitamin C supplementation in adults may help decrease the duration of the common cold and reduce the severity of cold-related symptoms. During times of stress, additional vitamin C may be beneficial (3).
Allicin Garlic has been used for centuries in various societies to combat infectious disease. It is believed that Louis Pasteur described the antibacterial effect of garlic for the first time, in 1858. We now know that Allicin is almost solely responsible for the antimicrobial activity of garlic (4).
Allimax may counter the common cold. In a randomised, double-blinded, placebo-controlled investigation, 146 volunteers took either a placebo or an Allimax capsule every day over 12-weeks. The Allimax group reported statistically significantly fewer colds than the placebo group, and the those in the Allimax group who had a cold recovered more quickly. The researchers concluded that “the allicin-containing supplement studied may represent a “cure” for the common cold.” (5)

How does AllicinMax differ from other garlic-based supplements?
Other garlic supplements may not contain ANY allicin. While many of these other supplements rely on your body being able to generate allicin once you have swallowed the tablet or capsule or are produced by distilling fresh garlic to make garlic oil, these processes destroy most, if not all of the available allicin. A few garlic powder supplements can generate some allicin but this depends on the prevailing stomach conditions and may take several hours to accomplish conversion to allicin. AllicinMax doesn’t need to wait to be converted since it actually IS allicin. When AllicinMax enters your stomach it dissolves quickly for easy absorption into the blood stream and breaks down to form allicin derivatives. The allicin in AllicinMax likes the acid environment of your stomach, unlike other supplements that can be inactivated by acidic conditions.
AllicinMax provides a 100% yield of Allicin.
Is AllicinMax Immune Suitable for Children?
AllicinMax Immune is not recommended for children under 12 years of age unless under the supervision of your health professional. Please use plain AllicinMax capsules or liquids
AllicinMax Cautions & Contraindications
High doses of garlic have been shown to slow down the blood clotting process. For this reason people on anticoagulants (such as warfarin, clopidigrel or aspirin) are advised to consult with their health professional starting any garlic supplement. If you are to undergo surgery we recommend ceasing high-dose garlic one week prior to your operation. While Garlic can cause gut reactions in some people (contact us if this is you-as it is a diagnostic clue) AllicinMax Immune is usually well tolerated unless you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
