Bergamot Cold Pressed Oil. 100% Pure Organic 10mL

Citrus bergamia 100% pure organic cold pressed oil of Bergamot (bitter orange) peel from Italy.

This is a top quality essential oil used traditionally in the treatment of depression, stress, tension, fear, “hysteria”, infection (all types including skin), anorexia, psoriasis, eczema and general convalescence. It also stimulates the liver.

Bergamot has a lovely fresh but warm citrusy aroma – it is one of the key ingredients in the enduring fragrance “Eau de cologne” (along with Lavender & Neroli).

Great for those who are feeling a bit sad, or have the winter blues as this is a great oil for inspiring joy.

It’s benefit for psoriasis is due to it’s ability to enhance the skin’s sensitivity to the sun – but because of this caution needs to be employed with fair skin and bright sunlight.

Use in inhalations, creams, ointments, compresses and in personal massage blends.
WARNING: Never apply Bergamot to skin that will be exposed to the sun. Maximum concentration for use  on the skin is 0.4%.  Phototoxicity may occur at higher concentrations, or when used in combination with other photo-sensitising agents.
