In-bench noise-reducing sound enclosure for OmniBlend V
An in-bench, noise-reducing sound enclosure the OmniShield is designed for use with OmniBlend V, encloses the jar and the motor so noise is reduced by up to 80%.
By sinking the motor below the bench noise is further reduced.
The OmniShield is designed to fit into a hole cut in the work-bench (template provided)
This has the following advantages:
– puts the motor under the bench which further quietens the operational sound
– places the Omniblender at a better working height for less strain on staff
– Create a safer, quieter working environment by using a noise-reducing sound enclosure for your OmniBlend blender.
Combination units for cafe’s and restaurants with sound shield, extra jug and spare blade assembly are also available here. For on-bench sound shields with blender, extra shield and spare blade assembly look here. For on-bench shield only look here.
Other brands of blenders that will fit into the OmniShield sound enclosure box include: KitchenAid, CusineArt, Lexsun (with 1.5L jug) Omega and Vitamix with a smaller jar (1 Litre), and Blendtec blenders such as the EZ Blender, the HP3A, and the Total Blender. The Blendtec Designer Series and the Professional Series Blenders fit also, especially the Tom Dickson Extreme Blender. KichenAid and CusineArt blenders require a substitute platform inserted (a cardboard piece) on the bottom of the sound box .
The OmniShield is purpose-built for the OmniBlend blender, Noise reduction on other brands is by around 40-50%
NOTE: AS/NZS 1269.4 predicts a 10 dB hearing loss for 95% of a noise-exposed population if they are exposed for 40 years to the noise standard of 85 dB(A) for 8 hours per day. Most blenders in commercial create sound above 85dB.
