Vital-C is a low cost, fast-acting support for the body’s immune system and aids quick recovery from ills and chills.

Our low allergy, buffered vitamin C formula may help reduce the severity of the symptoms of colds and hay fever. This formula may assist in relieving vitamin C deficiency related symptoms such as easy bruising, tender gums with bleeding during brushing, and susceptibility to the common cold. Vitamin C is an important anti-oxidant. Also contains hesperidin, a natural bioflavonoid which helps improve the absorption of vitamin C.

Based on current research, we recommend a minimum daily intake of 200 mg of vitamin C. You may need more if you are stressed, immuno-compromised, a smoker, in extreme conditions, flying or have symptoms of a cold or flu.

Vital-C is water soluble. To reduce the risk of diarrhoea (which can occur at high doses) we recommend adding your daily dose to a water bottle, so you drink it over the day. Please ensure your water bottle is glass or metal, not plastic. We recommend EcoTanka.

How the body uses Vitamin C

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient and a powerful antioxidant, supporting natural immunity and resistance to allergens. It is necessary for:

• its vital role in all of the hormones produced by the adrenal glands (so is rapidly used up during stress)
• collagen formation (skin & bones)
• wound healing
• blood vessels and organs also rely on vitamin C to maintain their structural integrity.

Suggested Dose 
Vital-C is high dose, so only small amounts are needed

Adults: Take 1/4 tsp daily.
Children 2 years and above: No more than 1/8 tsp as directed by your healthcare professional.

The powder provides a refreshing lemon-flavoured beverage when dissolved in a glass of water. Stir well and drink promptly for best results.
