AllicinMax with Allisure® AC-23 (180 mg) capsules

Just one capsule a day of easily-absorbed AllicinMax with food can be beneficial for health and well-being. Garlic has been used for centuries in various societies to combat infectious disease. It is believed that Louis Pasteur described the antibacterial effect of garlic in 1858 for the first time. We now know that Allicin is almost solely responsible for the antimicrobial activity of garlic (1).

Allimax may counter the common cold!  In a randomised, double-blinded, placebo-controlled investigation, 146 volunteers took either a placebo or an Allimax capsule every day over 12-weeks. The Allimax group reported statistically significantly fewer colds than the placebo group, and the those in the Allimax group who had a cold recovered more quickly. The researchers concluded that “the allicin-containing supplement studied may represent a “cure” for the common cold.” (2)

A patented extraction process is used to produce stabilised product with 100% yield of allicin.  This process ensures all the benefits of stabilised allicin are locked into convenient, one-a-day capsules designed for rapid absorption into your body.

How does AllicinMax differ from other garlic-based supplements?

Other garlic supplements may not contain ANY allicin. They rely on your body being able to generate allicin once you have swallowed the tablet or capsule. Garlic oil supplements are produced by distilling fresh garlic, the oil that is produced is then diluted and placed into a capsule. This destroys most, if not all of the available allicin. A few garlic powder supplements can generate some allicin but this depends on the prevailing stomach conditions and may take several hours to accomplish conversion to allicin. AllicinMax doesn’t need to wait to be converted since it actually IS allicin. When AllicinMax enters your stomach it dissolves quickly for easy absorption into the blood stream and breaks down to form allicin derivatives. The allicin in AllicinMax likes the acid environment of your stomach, unlike other supplements that can be inactivated by acidic conditions.

AllicinMax provides a 100% yield of Allicin.

Is AllicinMax Suitable for Children?

AllicinMax is not recommended for children under 3 years of age unless under the supervision of your health professional. For children over 7 years old the full adult dose can be taken.

AllicinMax Cautions & Contraindications

High doses of garlic have been shown to slow down the blood clotting process. For this reason people on anticoagulants (such as warfarin, clopidigrel or aspirin) are advised to consult with their health professional starting any garlic supplement. If you are to undergo surgery we recommend ceasing high-dose garlic one week prior to your operation. While Garlic can cause gut reactions in some people (contact us if this is you-as it is a diagnostic clue) AllicinMax is usually well tolerated unless you are allergic to it.
